For example, slide #43 is "Translate" - Students make foreign language (in this case, English) road descriptions. Students are given a destination and a camera. They then make a road description in the form of a VoiceThread, a media aggregator that allows people to post media artefacts - which might be a document, a slide presentation, a video, or a collection of photos.
