Fall foliage in Fort Smith..
There's not much red in the foliage up here in the South Slave region of the Northwet Territories... that's because there are no maple trees.. but the aspens give great golden colours..
The hydro powerlines in this image carry electricity from the Thelon Dam to us in Fort Smith and Hay River... giving us the least expensive electricity in the NWT.
This shot was taken on Route # 5 south of Fort Smith in Alberta between us and Fort Chip... looking North..
